Слышно is a mobile application for recording and transcribing voice notes (package ru.top.krut.voice.slyshno). The copyright holder of the application and the personal data operator is an individual entrepreneur; the details are set out at the bottom of the page.
The voice recordings you make in the application are stored in the application's private sandbox on your device (the recordings folder inside the sandbox). Only the application itself has access to this folder. The recordings are not sent to our servers.
The name, duration, creation date, tags, the "favorite" flag, the transcript text, notes and the list of birds found are stored in the local storage of the application (inside the sandbox). By default they do not leave the device - except where you yourself enable backup to Yandex Disk (see below).
Speech recognition is performed entirely on the device - your audio is not sent anywhere. All cases in which the application makes network requests, as well as the functions that work entirely on the device, are listed below.
cloud-api.yandex.net.By default transcription is performed entirely on the device by the GigaAM model (Sber) or Zipformer-ru (a light model for weaker devices; selected in the settings) via sherpa-onnx. No network requests carrying your audio take place.
Bird recognition by call is performed on the device by the Google Perch model. The audio is not sent anywhere. The "Photo" / "Description" buttons next to an identified bird open an external web search (Google Images / Wikipedia) containing only the species name (without your audio).
Correction of mistakes and punctuation in the transcript (using the "Improve text with a neural network" button) is performed on the device by the SAGE neural network model. The transcript text is not sent anywhere.
On first use the application downloads the model files (GigaAM, Zipformer-ru, Perch, SAGE) from the developer's mirror (files.krut.top) or from Hugging Face. Only a standard network request is made (your IP is visible to the server); recordings and personal data are not sent, and the integrity of the downloaded files is verified with SHA-256.

This is not a "raw" device identifier, not an advertising identifier and not used for tracking - it is needed solely for licensing and for limiting the number of free activations per device (anti-fraud). When the Pro version is activated with a code, and on subsequent checks, the activation code entered is also transmitted.voice.krut.top/popup-slyshno)Occasionally (no more than once every 3 hours) the application requests service notifications from our server - for example, about new versions or important changes. What is transferred: only the network request itself (your IP is visible to the server); device identifiers, recordings, transcripts and personal data are not transferred.

The application does not ask you for any other permissions requiring confirmation (apart from those listed above - the microphone and notifications). The build may include service permissions of the "normal" category, which Android grants automatically, without a dialog, and which do not give access to your personal data: access to the network and Wi-Fi state, sound settings, media playback in the notification, the launch of a service component after the device is rebooted (it brings note reminders back), biometrics for protected local storage and file access on legacy versions of Android. These permissions are not used to collect or transfer your data.
The application does not contain any usage analytics, any advertising or any advertising trackers. We do not collect statistics on your actions: which screens you opened, what you recorded and how often you use the application are unknown to us.
Two third-party components are present in the build, and both are named here explicitly:
Recordings and metadata are stored locally until you delete them yourself or delete the application itself. Removing the application from the device also deletes all the recordings (Android sandbox). If you had enabled backup, the copies in your Yandex Disk are not deleted when the application is removed - they can be deleted manually (the application folder on the Disk).
The application is not directed to children under 13 years of age.
